Enjoy a Poem About The State of Pennsylvania
In the heart of America's quilted land,
A state so proud, where legends stand,
Pennsylvania, oh, majestic and grand,
A tapestry woven by nature's hand.
In the east, the city of brotherly love,
Philadelphia, where history was wove,
The Liberty Bell, its voice so clear,
Echoes of freedom we still hold dear.
Amidst rolling hills and winding streams,
A landscape painted with vibrant dreams,
The Pocono Mountains, a haven so serene,
Where nature's beauty forever convenes.
From the Alleghenies to the Delaware Bay,
A panorama that takes my breath away,
Pristine forests, where whispers soothe,
Nature's chorus echoing through.
Amish buggies grace Lancaster's roads,
Simple lives, where tradition unfolds,
Hardworking hands and humble ways,
A glimpse into simpler, bygone days.
In Pittsburgh, steel forged a mighty path,
A city reborn, an industrial aftermath,
Bridges span the proud Three Rivers,
Uniting hearts, making souls shiver.
State College, where dreams take flight,
Penn State roars with a spirit so bright,
Nittany Lions, a symbol of pride,
Guiding students far and wide.
Poets and writers have called it home,
Marvelling at its spirit, forever to roam,
From Dickinson to Frost, their words illuminate,
Pennsylvania's essence, its eternal fate.
And let us not forget the Amish charm,
Their farmland calm, their way of disarm,
A testament to simple living, sincere and pure,
In Pennsylvania, their heritage will endure.
So, here's to the Keystone State,
Where industry and nature collaborate,
Endless wonders, history profound,
Pennsylvania, in you, beauty abounds.
