State of Wyoming Poem
In the heart of the wild, where mountains stand tall,
Lies a land of wonder, the great Wyoming sprawl.
With its rolling plains and vast open skies,
Wyoming's beauty brings tears to your eyes.
From the Red Desert's sands, where the antelope play,
To the rugged Tetons, where the eagles display,
This state embodies nature's pure, untouched grace,
A haven for creatures in their natural embrace.
Oh Wyoming, thou art a timeless sanctuary,
Where souls find solace in your boundless prairie.
Your tranquil lakes reflect the heavens above,
As moonlight dances on the still waters with love.
In Yellowstone's domain, geysers burst to the sky,
Painting a vivid picture with colors that never die.
The bison roam freely, their essence strong and free,
A reminder of the wild and what Wyoming can be.
Out on the range, the cowboys wrangle and ride,
Their spirits unbroken, their hearts full of pride.
They honor tradition, the Old West's legacy,
Preserving a heritage for all eyes to see.
Wyoming, where spirit and adventure entwine,
Where the call of the wild whispers, "this land is thine."
From the Wind River Range to the Bighorn's grand peaks,
The spirit of exploration, forever it seeks.
In the star-studded nights, Wyoming's spirit shines bright,
In every twinkling light, imagination takes flight.
Here, dreams are born and destinies unfold,
In a land where untamed beauty never grows old.
So let us celebrate, this majestic state,
Where untamed rivers flow and legends create.
Wyoming, where landscapes hold secrets untold,
Forever in your embrace, my heart shall behold.
